I am so excited to launch the Castle View Yarns 2023 yarn advent calendar! This year's Ice Cream Shoppe theme promises to be full of exciting flavours and colours translated onto yarn.
This listing is for a mystery tonal colourway designed to coordinate with our 2023 advent calendar. As a hint to the colour, consider this skein like a cone for your ice creams! Perfect for adding a border or stripes for example; you can select any of the bases offered in the daily and weekly advents. Order as many skeins as you wish, making your advent set truly versatile for any project!
This yarn is dyed to order and will be shipped with advents in October 2023.
Yarn Bases
Soft Sock - our new favourite sock yarn! This is a 75% superwash merino and 25% nylon yarn with 425m/100g. It is a 3ply construction with a bit of added twist in comparison to our classic 4ply sock. Thanks to it's 19.5 micron count, this yarn is super soft and feels wonderful next to the skin.
Gold Sparkle Sock - sock yarn with some added glitz! This base has 75% superwash merino, 20% nylon & 5% gold stellina with 400m/100g. Perfect for all kinds of projects, the sparkle gives a special touch to your makes.
Soft Merino Fingering - a gorgeous 100% superwash merino yarn with 400m/100g. This is similar to our soft sock, but without the nylon! It has a micron count of 19.5 for extra softness, and is a 3ply construction with a little bit of twist. This yarn takes dye like a dream and is always vibrant and beautiful!
DK - our mega versatile classic DK yarn with 75% superwash merino & 25% nylon. This base has 225m/100g. Perfect if you prefer a slightly heavier weight yarn, our DK option works wonderfully for so many types of projects.

Postage - this is calculated based on your location. All advents are sent via a tracked & insured postal service to help ensure safe delivery.
Timeframe - this is a pre order advent and not an in stock product. All yarns will be dyed to order and we aim to dispatch advents during October to ensure timely delivery ready for December 1st.
Address details - as this is a pre order with a long timeframe it is possible that your address details may change - please contact us via email if your address details need amending prior to your advent being shipped.
Customs fees & duties - for those outside of the UK, please be aware that all prices are excluding VAT. Parcels will be sent marked 'duties unpaid', and we are not responsible for any charges incurred on importing goods from the UK into another country. Duties and taxes vary greatly dependant on your location so please be aware of those charges and limits set in your own country.
