Hotly anticipated, our mystery bags are a double win - a chance for me to clear out some space, and a bargain yarn surprise for you!
Each bag contains 3 skeins of hand dyed yarn all on the same yarn base, which you can select. These are 100g skeins for the most part, or 50g skeins of suri silk or mohair silk. All 3 skeins in the bag will be different colourways that I have selected to coordinate with each other. Some are retiring lines, some are one of a kind colours, some are just odd skeins that need to make way for new things. There are variegated bags, some are tonal and some are a mixture of the two.
If you have any preferences as to the kind of colours you would most enjoy please pop a note on your order but do bear in mind that these are pre-packaged mystery sets and I cannot guarantee to meet your request. Some bases have a larger number of bags available (sock, DK, suri and mohair) so I have more chance of matching your request on these bases but bags will be selected on a first come first served basis. I cannot meet requests for specific colourways or combinations.
Examples of requests that may be possible are:

Individually hand dyed in the UK using professional acid dyes to produce a unique and beautiful colour.
Hand wash in cool water and lay flat to dry.
We recommend alternating skeins for larger projects as no two skeins are identical – this is what is so wonderful about hand dyed yarn! Please be aware that whilst every effort is taken to provide accurate colour representation in photos, monitors will, and do, vary.
Due to the nature of the dyeing process, you may experience a small amount of colour bleeding. This can be due to a huge variety of factors, including the hardness of your water, the temperature, and the use of any additions to the wash.
Please be assured that all yarns are thoroughly rinsed before being shipped, and we will never knowingly send you a skein that bleeds. If you have any concerns or questions please do not hesitate to get in touch – we can advise you further.
